Yes, for most UAE entities. Under Federal Decree-Law No. 32 of 2021 (UAE Commercial Companies Law), companies are required to appoint an auditor and have their accounts audited annually. Most free zone authorities also require an annual audit as a condition of licence renewal.

If your taxable supplies and imports exceed AED 375,000 per annum, registration is mandatory. If they exceed AED 187,500, you may register voluntarily. Failure to register on time carries significant FTA penalties.
The UAE corporate tax rate is 9% on taxable profits above AED 375,000. Profits up to AED 375,000 are taxed at 0%. Small Business Relief is available for certain entities with revenue below AED 3 million. Qualifying Free Zone Persons may benefit from a 0% rate on qualifying income.
Corporate tax returns must be filed within 9 months of the end of your tax period. Most businesses with a December year-end will have a September deadline. CashLaw Global manages the full CT registration, filing, and payment process.

Yes. All financial statements prepared by CashLaw Global comply with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), as required by UAE law and free zone authorities.
ESR requires UAE entities conducting certain "Relevant Activities" (including banking, insurance, shipping, holding companies, and distribution businesses) to demonstrate genuine economic substance in the UAE. Annual notification and reporting is required, failure to comply attracts significant penalties. Our team assesses whether ESR applies to you and handles all filings.
Under Cabinet Decision No. 58 of 2020, all UAE companies must maintain an Ultimate Beneficial Owner (UBO) register, identifying individuals who ultimately own or control 25%+ of the company, and submit this to the relevant authority. We handle UBO register preparation, filing, and updates when ownership changes.
Anti-money laundering obligations in the UAE apply to a much broader range of businesses than many realise, including accountants, real estate agents, auditors, lawyers, and dealers in precious metals. We assess whether AML obligations apply to you and build a proportionate compliance programme.
